Zach Markon

 

Zach most recently worked as the Motion Graphics Producer for the Atlanta Falcons, where he was responsible for designing all motion graphics and producing video content for the team’s digital platforms. He played a key role in launching the Falcons' Ticketmaster Studios, overseeing both the technical and creative aspects of production. Additionally, he mentored production interns and HBCU Fellows, helping them develop their skills in live production environments.

Before his time with the Falcons, Zach was with the Kansas City Royals as a Video Board Trainee. In this role, he created engaging in-stadium visuals and contributed to the team's branding initiatives, helping to enhance the overall fan experience at Kauffman Stadium.

Prior to his work in Kansas City, he took on a freelance role with UCF Athletics, where he led replay operations and directed in-venue video board productions for UCF Football. His responsibilities included overseeing game-day workflows and training student interns on production best practices.

Zach graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Journalism, majoring in broadcast production and sports media & communication. During college, he was an integral part of HuskerVision, Nebraska Athletics’ video production arm, where he oversaw instant replay operations for volleyball and football. He also spearheaded creative content as a producer for Nebraska Women’s Gymnastics, helping the team’s social media presence grow by over 500% in one year.

With a strong background in motion graphics, live production, and storytelling, Zach is looking continue building his career in creative media, bringing engagement and innovation to every project.
